The Team Tournament

How to Qualify

Any player that has ever played in a Drop-N-Aces tournament (nightly, monthly, or Quarterly) is eligible for The Team Tournament. Any eligible player may invite a player that has never played in a Drop-N-Aces event. A team must consist of at least one existing Drop-N-Aces player.

Location and Date

The Team Tournament will be held at Lochrann’s Irish Pub and Eatery on Sunday November 23^rd at 12:30pm. You must be present by 12:00pm to sign in.

Bonus Chips

If you show up and eat before the start of the tournament you will be awarded 2000 bonus starting chips. Each team member will be awarded 2000 extra chips. This is important because you do not want to give your opponent an advantage.

Structure

The Team Tournament will be run the same structure as a nightly or quarterly tournament. Each table will consist of the same or close to the same amount of players. When players are eliminated tables will be reduced until the final table.

Teams will consist of 2 to 3 players. No player may play more than two rounds straight. Players may rotate during a round but once a player exits a round they cannot play again until that round is over.

Teams may not consult each other on a hand during play.

Bounty

There will be a bounty team playing. That team will consist of Bill Saunders, Mike Franke, and Tim Cloud. Any team that knocks out the Drop-N-Aces team will be awarded $100.

What You’re Playing For

The Top 10 teams will earn a seat in the Drop-N-Aces 2009 WSOP qualifier. The 1^st place team will be awarded $300 and the second place team will be awarded $150.
