John J. Gately
John’s proven track record of developing cutting-edge technological solutions began in 1990, in Columbia, Missouri. Observing the manpower that was required to investigate and track property crimes, John decided there had to be an easier and more effective way—a technological way—to solve them.
Working closely with the local Sheriff’s department and other agencies in Missouri, John developed the Pawn Inventory/Law Enforcement Tracking (PILET) System, which later merged with l.e.a.d.s.online, based in Dallas, Texas. With John’s assistance and legislative work, l.e.a.d.s.online began its rise to become the nation's largest Web-based system used by law enforcement to investigate and solve burglaries, identity theft, and narcotics offenses.
Following his departure from l.e.a.d.s.online, John continued to work closely with law enforcement agencies to help define additional needs and develop technologies that addressed those concerns.
John has more than 18 years of experience in the technology industry, including positions as Vice President of Technology, Sr. Product Manager, System Administrator, and Technology Consultant. John has MCSE, MCPI, A+, SQL Administrator, and Network+ certifications, and experience with numerous platforms, network protocols, storage solutions, administration tools, computer hardware, and other high-end technology.
